The Spouses of Heads of Mission, or SHOM, is an informal group for spouses of heads of foreign diplomatic missions to the Philippines. Our main aim is to act as a support network welcoming newly-arrived spouses and helping them to settle in Manila. We also raise money to support various charitable organisations throughout the Philippines. Our group has been in existence for many years, probably ever since the Philippines began forging diplomatic relations with other countries.
